1. Service Description

NotPeople ("we", "us", "our") operates notpeople.ai and provides a REST API for accessing publicly available data from social media platforms including Twitter and Threads. Our service parses public posts, profiles, comments, and social graph data in real time and returns structured JSON responses.

2. Acceptable Use

By using our API you agree to:

• Use the data only for lawful purposes
• Respect the terms of service of underlying platforms (Twitter, Threads)
• Not use the API for spamming, harassment, or any form of abuse
• Not resell raw API access without prior written consent
• Not attempt to circumvent rate limits or billing mechanisms

3. Billing

We offer subscription plans billed monthly as well as one-time unit pack purchases. Subscription credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over. One-time unit pack credits expire at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@notpeople.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Limitation of Liability

Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the API. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of data returned by the API.

6. Modifications

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
